Liz and the staff at Barbara Falowski will be the only place we go to for any kind of funeral arrangement. From beginning to end, Liz walked us through everything needed at a time when your mind isn't ready to make decisions. She was patient and thorough. She followed up and keep us up to date with all the arrangements, thinking of things we didn't. The facility for the viewing was also spotless and nicely decorated. They were so kind to my daughter who is only 5 and processing the loss. I am thankful for her guidance and how incredibly sensitive and caring the team was. I have seen them service 2 other funerals for friends and each time all aspects were handled so very well. Liz even recognized us at another funeral which is incredible considering how many people she meets. I'm grateful for Barbara Falowski and their compassionate team. The services of Liz and her team at Barbara Falowski far exceeded any other funeral home I visited. After viewing 7 others in the Ft. Lauderdale area, I knew right away we were going to hire Liz to take care of everything for my father. She was beyond compassionate, understanding, and empathic throughout the entire process. She handled the entire process delicately and as if it were her own family member. I truly cannot thank her and her team enough, as they made this entire process a seamless one. Ms. Frenier, Please feel free to use this letter where ever you feel is most appropriate. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the staff at Barbara Falowski Funeral Services in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for their wonderful assistance and support in dealing with our Mother's passing. Mom's passing on 5/3/2021 was unexpected, I received a call from my brother Rich at 5:00AM telling me that Mom was in distress and he was on the way to the hospital. By 8:30AM that morning Mom had passed away. My first thought was to call Barber Memorial Home, the Barber family has taken care of our family for 4 generations. Kyla Barber DeBlock took my call and said that she would do some research about funeral homes in the Coral Springs / Ft. Lauderdale area and get back to me shortly. I took her return call on my way to the airport in Albany, she provided us with an excellent recommendation and we couldn't be happier with the service that Barbara Falowski Funeral & Cremation Services provided to us. Leroy Calhoun and Bob Rose took expert care of Mom and were very thoughtful and professional to Rich, Deby, and I as we planned for Mom's arrangements. I was especially touched by the care and consideration offered to us with a private viewing so we could say our good bye's one last time. Throughout the week they were in constant contact as we worked through getting the death certificates, the remembrance cards, and making the provisions for Mom's cremation. Leroy was especially helpful in walking me through the process of transporting Mom back home to Endwell, making sure I had the correct documentation for Airport Security and for the cemetery. I'm thankful to say that the trip home was uneventful, I'm so appreciative of that. In closing, I would highly recommend Barbara Falowski Funeral Services to any one in need and I thank Kyla Barber DeBlock for her recommendation. Dear Lizbeth, I want to thank you and your entire staff for the beautiful preparation and funeral service that was arranged for my father, Wilfredo Davila. While my father died at an advanced age and he suffered through late stage Alzheimers for many months, his passing was still a painful departure for the entire family. Your staff did a tremendous job at ensuring that his life was celebrated and that our grieving family was treated with dignity and respect. I also want to thank them (Leroy and Bob in particular) for going the extra mile in arranging for the honor guard to give him the veteran's send off that was so important to our family. My father was so very proud of his service to his country and it was a tender tribute that I will always remember. Please let Taylor, Chris and Leroy know how much we appreciated their help and presence at the service. Each one of them was attentive and comforting to family members and friends. I seldom write reviews, but I feel this one is more than well deserved. It is impossible to accurately describe the level of satisfaction I found regarding the sensitivity and professionalism of the management, staff, and services provided us at Barbara Falowski Funeral and Cremation Services during the difficult time of losing my mother. From the moment I walked in the door to start pre-planning my mom’s arrangements, I was made to feel comfortable. Unlike other funeral homes, I was never made to feel rushed or persuaded into something I didn’t need or want. Chris was absolutely amazing in helping me plan the entire service from beginning to end, and was there, present, and accommodating. I was reassured that at the time of need they would be there 24/7 and would take care of absolutely everything, and they did. They made my mother look beautiful, the entire staff was supportive, accommodating to my every need, and very responsive to my mother’s guests. The entire establishment, from the entryway to the chapel is warm, charming, inviting, and tastefully decorated. So much so, that I was asked by many of the attendees how I was able to find such a perfect place. The staff is exceptionally professional and respectful with an unsurpassed sensitivity you don’t see very often these days. I was proud that I entrusted them to prepare my mom for visitation before her final journey, and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for a place to hold funeral/life celebration services for a loved one.

We buried my dad today. It was a difficult experience, especially given COVID restrictions. When Mom died five months ago, we made her arrangements through another funeral home and I vowed never to use them again. We instead turned to Leroy Calhoun at the Barbara Falowski Funeral Home to take care of my dad and the service was top notch. Compassionate, efficient, caring and reasonably priced. Everything was well done and all our needs were anticipated and met. Mr Calhoun is a kind and empathetic professional. I can only say “thank you, sir” for putting us all at ease and for your kind services.

Our family is most pleased with the kindness, honesty and compassionate service provided during our time of great and unexpected loss. After contacting several South Florida corporate funeral homes with disappointing results, we walked into the Barbara Falowski Home without an appointment, hoping just to see the facility. We were greeted with a calm sincerity. There was no price for this and then, oh yes, we have an ala carte price. Everything was clear and transparent, and they did precisely as promised. We knew our beloved son would be safe with the Falowski family. The facility was clean and homey -- not overly embellished or plastic. It meant so much to us. We wish to extend our thanks and appreciation for all that was done and the manner in which it was carried out. We feel they truly cared.
